Hi I’m Bernadette Silva, MA, LRC, I’m a licensed clinical therapist and a first-generation Latina, deeply passionate about empowering the community. I understand how important it is to heal from trauma that often goes unspoken. Breaking barriers and being the first to achieve certain milestones can be both exciting and exhausting. Your experiences and all the layers of your story truly matter.

Much of my work focuses on trauma, supporting survivors of interpersonal violence, domestic abuse, sexual trauma, and intergenerational wounds. After trauma, it’s common to feel lost, hopeless, or even blame yourself. With my expertise in trauma and mental health, I am here to help you process these feelings and begin the healing journey.

My approach is relational, culturally inclusive, holistic, strength-based, and trauma-informed. I also use specialized therapies such as EMDR and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to support trauma processing. Clients often describe me as energetic, nonjudgmental, direct when needed, authentic, and positive.

Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, and it takes courage to take this step. Therapy is a collaborative process, and as your therapist, I am committed to walking alongside you and holding a safe, supportive space. Feeling understood and truly seen is essential. Let’s explore if we’re a good fit—schedule a free 10-minute consultation today.
